Jordan and Vanessa arrived at The Homestead on New Year’s Day in 2011. They run an organic market garden on the farm and work with Joe and Jess on general farm management. Their tenure at The Homestead follows a season-long bicycle-tour of farms in Oregon, California, and Eastern Canada, and two years at Ragley Farm on Vancouver Island.

Joe and Jessica Klein have owned and operated The Homestead Organic Farm in Peachland for thirty years. They were founding members of the Penticton Farmers’ Market and have been active in BC’s environmental and social justice movements since they moved to the Okanagan. Jessica is also an avid painter and jeweler.
